500 Seneca is an outstanding example of adaptive reuse of a former industrial complex. Built in sections from 1901 to 1927, 500 Seneca was the home of the F.N. Burt Company, housing their offices and factory. F.N. Burt was for a time the world’s largest paper box manufacturing company, and an important part of Buffalo’s industrial economy. Following the departure of F.N. Burt, the building was also home to New Era Cap Company.

In 2010, the building was purchased by investors – Frontier Group of Companies and Savarino Companies – with the intention of transforming it into a mixed use facility. Today, 500 Seneca has been transformed to a successful mix of apartments and businesses. Join us for an in-depth tour of this building, which will include glimpses into the building’s past where historical elements of the building have been preserved.

Space on this tour is limited, and reservations are required.
