While at 1021 Broadway and 239 Lombard Streets, visitors will tour some of the 100,000 sf of space dedicated to health and human services. This dynamic complex, built in 1920, formerly Zolte’s Furniture then Victor’s Furniture (1021 Broadway) and The Lederman Furniture Store then Handley Industries (239 Lombard) has been transformed into a hub of activity in the heart of the Broadway Fillmore neighborhood. The tour will include Jericho Road’s medically oriented gym, the Care Management Coalition’s shared nonprofit hub, The Handley Room at the Lederman(community event space), and 3 Stories Cafe while learning about the building’s 100-year history.
