Buffalo Presidential Center
1 Lafayette Square, 2nd Floor
Last admittance: 4pm
Photography and filming permitted.
Handicap accessible.
Visitor Experience: Visitors will see why noted NPR host and author, Brady Carlson, says, “Buffalo has the richest presidential history of any city in the United States outside of Washington, D.C.” as they peruse the story board and original artifacts dating back to 1856.
Building Description: The Buffalo Presidential Center is located in the downtown Public Library so there are not any architectural features. However, we complement the other cultural/historic non-profits in Buffalo and Western New York by providing stories and artifacts related to our rich history. We also contribute to the tourism industry as many out-of-town visitors enjoy spending time with us.
