Building Description: Built and placed in service 3 years before the Wright Brothers flew the first airplane, and the year before the Pan-Am Expo in Buffalo, this steel hulled vessel can break over two feet of ice to prevent ice dams and flooding along the Buffalo River, Buffalo Creek, and Caz Creek.
