Upcoming Dates:

Saturday, August 26 – 11 AM

Do you love to create, design, experiment, & explore? Join us for this fast-paced workshop where you’ll get a chance to step into an architect’s shoes and design your own new building! First, we’ll take a walk around Symphony Circle to learn about building designs, uses, & what sorts of buildings make up a community. Then you’ll get a chance to work through the design process & use LEGOs to build a model of a building you think would help to complete the community around Symphony Circle! Bring your creative ideas & get ready to have fun!

This workshop is led by a specially-trained Explore Buffalo docent & a volunteer architect from the Buffalo Architecture Foundation. Each workshop is 90 minutes in length. Parents must stay with their children for the workshop.

Meet at First Presbyterian Church at One Symphony Circle, Buffalo, NY 14201. Parking is available in the church lot (entrance on Pennsylvania Street).

Please note: The workshop includes a short outdoor tour that will run rain or shine; please ensure youth are dressed accordingly. Sorry, LEGO models cannot be taken home; we will send a picture of your child’s creation to your email address.
