Fall 2020 History Course: Episodes in Buffalo History

Our Fall 2020 Buffalo History Course is going virtual! Join us from home on Zoom on Wednesday evenings from October 21 to November 18 for Episodes in Buffalo History. We’ll be taking a close look at five important time periods in Buffalo history, with a different presentation each week by an Explore Buffalo docent. At the end of this course, you’ll have a deeper understanding of our community’s history. Our Episodes will include:

  • October 21: The Erie Canal
  • October 28: Buffalo’s Boom Times
  • November 4: The Pan-American Exposition
  • November 11: World War II in Buffalo
  • November 18: Buffalo’s Resurgence

Each presentation, with Q&A at the end, will be approximately one hour in length. Each presentation will begin at 7pm.

  • Explorer Pass Admission: $20

This course must be purchased as a whole – you cannot register for individual sessions. You will receive the Zoom access instructions after registering for this course. Registered participants will also receive access to the recording of each presentation after the class in case you are unable to attend, or would like to rewatch the presentation. Please note that recordings will be available the week following each presentation.
