Spring 2021 History Course: Historic Towns of WNY

Our Buffalo History Course is returning this Spring! Join us from home on Zoom on Thursday evenings from April 15 to May 6 for Historic Towns of Western New York. We’ll be taking a look at the history of four selected villages in Erie and Niagara counties, with a different presentation each week by an Explore Buffalo docent. At the end of this course, you’ll have a deeper understanding of our community’s history. Topics will include:

  • Thursday, April 15: The Village of Depew
  • Thursday, April 22: The City of Lackawanna
  • Thursday, April 29: The City of Lockport
  • Thursday, May 6: The Village of Kenmore

Each presentation, with Q&A at the end, will be approximately one hour in length. Each presentation will begin at 7pm.

  • Explorer Pass Admission: $15

This course must be purchased as a whole – you cannot register for individual sessions. You will receive the Zoom access instructions after registering for this course. Registered participants will also receive access to the recording of each presentation after the class in case you are unable to attend, or would like to rewatch the presentation.
