This tour is a collaboration between Explore Buffalo and Journey’s End Refugee Services.  Grant Street is a rapidly transforming commercial street, led by refugees and immigrants coming to Buffalo from around the world. On this tour, you’ll meet several refugees and recent immigrants who are making positive change in their neighborhood through small businesses. Their stories before arriving in Buffalo are far outside the origin stories of most Buffalonians. You’ve probably heard about bright changes happening on the West side – come have conversations with people who live and work there.

Fifty percent of proceeds from this tour will go to Journey’s End Refugee Services to support their ongoing work of assisting refugees to start new lives in Buffalo.

Tour Details:

• This tour is 90 minutes to two hours in length.
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather – the tour will proceed rain or shine.

The tour meets in front of Sweetness 7 Cafe at the corner of Grant Street and Lafayette Avenue.
