Community gardens are springing up throughout Buffalo, bringing new life to once-vacant plots of land and reinvigorating the surrounding neighborhood. Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo enables these community-led gardening efforts to succeed, and we are excited to partner with them to present these tours. On these walking tours, meet several of the neighborhood gardeners who work tirelessly to keep these gardens beautiful. While walking from garden to garden, admire the historic neighborhoods and charming homes on Buffalo’s West Side.

This tour is co-sponsored by Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo. Fifty percent of proceeds from this tour will go to Grassroots Gardens of Buffalo to support their ongoing work to support community gardens around the city.

• Reservations are encouraged but not required.
• This tour is 90 minutes to two hours in length.
• Please wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather – the tour will proceed rain or shine.
